MOIG offers two types of membership: Corporate and Associate :
• Corporate Members
Corporate members are any international and national oil and gas companies of any size, whether private, public or government owned, having operations or interests in exploration, production, storing, transporting, distribution, processing and refining of petroleum and other by-products mainly in the Mediterranean Region. Privileges granted to corporate Members include the right to the floor and to vote at General Assembly meetings. They are also entitled to participate in and/or chair such working groups as may be established within the MOIG.
• Associate Members
Associate Members are international, regional and national companies and associations covering environmental of exploration, production, storing, distribution, transportation and refining of petroleum as well as oil spill response agencies and practitioners, oil spill equipment manufacturers, and research institutions concerned with the provision of sustainable contingency planning and response to oil spills. Associate Members are entitled to attend General Assembly meetings with privileges accorded to Regular Members, except the voting right. Associate Members may also participate in and/or chair such working groups as may be established within MOIG.
