The MOIG Management Committee is very pleased to announce that the regional workshop on “Crisis Management and Making Decisions” will be held from 02 to 04 April 2019 in Iberostar Averroes hotel; in South Hammamet-Tunisia; in cooperation with the Center of Documentation, Research and Experimentation on Accidental Water Pollution (Cedre) and Eni Tunisia.
The event will open on Tuesday, 02 April 2019 at 08:00 hours and is expected to close on Thursday, 04 April 2019 at 15:15 hours.
The main objectives of this workshop are to remind the reasoning method and useful information for decision making in case of accidental oil pollution, to present various response options and selection criterias, to describe the functioning of one command post and support tools to make decisions, and to raise awareness on the importance of oil spill contingency plans, training and desktops.
This three-day workshop is designed to enhance the basic principles of oil spill preparedness. The Workshop Agenda involves courses, discussions and desktop exercises. Participants will also be afforded the opportunity to visit Eni Tunisia contracted pollution response vessel berthed at Marina of Yasmine Hammamet. The working languages of the workshop will be French and English.

This event was a good opportunity to meet key persons from Tunisian Oil and Gas Industry, to exchange information and develop new relationships.
